Flat Creek Produce is run by husband and wife Joey and Judy Herbert. The greenhouse is located on their small farm in Middle Tennessee, and the small river called Flat Creek runs through the land.

The Herbert family strives to provide fresh and delicious vegetables grown hydroponically without using any pesticides, insecticides, or harsh chemicals.

Hydroponics is a method of growing plants in water instead of soil. Nutrients are added to the water, allowing plants to continuously feed. Hydroponic gardening happens inside a greenhouse, allowing produce to be grown year round. Growing food indoors also decreases the exposure to bugs and diseases, greatly reducing the need for pesticides.
